Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (born March 28, 1986, aged 24 years;better known by his stage name Lady Gaga) is the American pop singer.He began performing in rock music scene of New York City's Lower East Side in 2003 and enrolled at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.He then signed a contract with Streamline Records,a trace of Interscope Records.During his initial time at Interscope,he worked as a songwriter for artists and capture the attention of fellow label Akon,who admitted his vocal abilities,and enter Gaga to Akon's label,Kon Live Distribution.

Released on August 19,2008,his debut album The Fame,reached number one in Britain,Canada,Austria,Germany and Ireland as well as reaching the top-10 in various countries around the world,in the United States,The Fame reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart and topped the Billboard's Dance / Electronic Album chart.wo first single,"Just Dance" and "Poker Face",written and on-co-production with RedOne,occupying the number one in the charts various countries,such as the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and other countries. The album was later won a total of six Grammy Award nominations,won the award for Best Electronic / Dance Album and Best Dance Recording for "Poker Face".In early 2009,he began his first tour,The Fame Ball Tour.In the fourth quarter of this year,he has released an EP,The Fame Monster, along with hit singles "Bad Romance",and Gaga start a second tour this year,The Monster Ball Tour.His second album,Born This Way,is scheduled to be released in 2011.

Lady Gaga inspired by glam rock artists such as David Bowie and Queen,as well as pop singers like Madonna and Michael Jackson.He also said fashion is a source of inspiration for songs and performances.Gaga ranked 73rd Billboard Artist of the Decade 2000-10.In August 2010,Gaga has sold more than 15 million albums and 51 million singles worldwide.Both Time magazine and Forbes annual list include Gaga in the "Most Influential People in the World" and "100 Most Powerful and Influential celebrities in the world",Forbes also put himself at number seven in the annual list of "World's 100 Most Powerful Women."
